OUR TEAM

In 2002, HyLighter, Inc. was incorporated in Florida (and restructured as an LLC in 2009) by David Lebow, the inventor of HyLighter and CEO, and Dale Lick, the former president of Florida State University (FSU) and current HyLighter Chairman of the Board. David received his Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Design from FSU in 1995 and has won several national awards for his work in the area of computer-enhanced collaborative learning environments. Dale is nationally recognized as a leader in the areas of leadership and change creation with eight books to his credit.

In 2003, Kamal Muthuswamy joined the company as the Chief Technology Officer and engineering force behind the company. For the past 10 years, he has focused on Web 2.0 development and social networking software systems. Kamal directs the application of technology and oversees the growing team of programmers and QA engineers.

In late 2010, Julie Campbell joined the company as Director of Client Services, focusing on usability assurance, technical support, training, and implementation management. Since joining the team, Ms. Campbell’s responsibilities evolved to include product interface design and development team management. Ms. Campbell has over 20 years of executive management experience with start-up companies, including six years as Director of Client Services in the document review space.

Other members of the HyLighter team include Neil Ferris (senior advisor and serial entrepreneur) and Gareth Taube (marketing advisor), and several other independent sales representatives and consultants.
