Section 508 establishes requirements for electronic and information technology developed, maintained, procured, or used by the Federal government. Section 508 requires Federal electronic and information technology to be accessible to people with disabilities, including employees and members of the public.
HyLighter is in the process of evaluating 508 requirements. Our goal is to make HyLighter accessible to individuals with disabilities that interfere with the functional performance of the software. We expect to make continuous improvements in accessibility to the extent feasible and consistent with section 508 as we make new releases over the next 12-18 months and beyond. HyLighter has developed an initial solution for making our color-coding feature accessible to color-blind individuals.
