Licensing Options and Definitions

We currently offer HyLighter through a standard license installed on your server behind your firewall. The minimum license is for 20 floating seats. With a floating-seat license, you are allowed a maximum number of "concurrent users." A user is considered "active" if he/she is logged in to HyLighter. Users with any HyLighter page open in a browser will remain logged in regardless of whether they are actively navigating through the site.

Of note, cost per floating seat goes down as the number of floating seats increases in various increments.

Although your server is licensed for a certain number of floating seats, HyLighter allows you to run over your license limits with no disruption in service. If licensed seats are exceeded several or more times during a quarter, we will ask you to purchase additional seats.

Of note, we plan to offer HyLighter through a SaaS model beginning in 2013.
